The Crimea South Coast tour with the visit of Vorontsov’s palace in Alupka and photo-stop on the Swallow nest observation platform. The Palace of Count M. S. Vorontsov, the Governor-General of the Novorossiysk Territory was built in first half of the 19th century in late English Gothic style with eastern elements. Thanks to its original architectural solution and the unique layout it’s got the architectural masterpiece fame. The palace interior acquaints the visitors with the noble family way of life in the middle of the 19th century. The splendid Alupka Park surrounds the Palace. This park is a unique sample of the landscape architecture, which impresses by its wide glades, waterfalls cascades and ponds’ smoothness. The famous Swallow Nest – the symbol of the South Coast and the whole Crimea – is a tiny romantic castle, miraculously located on the edge of Aurora Cliff just right above the sea. | |
