Bakhchisaray excursion with khan palace and Uspenskiy monastery visits. During this excursion you will visit the Khan’s Palace or Hansaray that is the historical-ethnographic museum at present; you will see the Fountain of Tears praised by Pushkin and the grand monuments in Bakhchisaray environs: the Uspenskiy monastery and town-fortress Chufut-Kale. The Uspensky Cave Monastery is the wonderful monastery made in the rocks of the Maryam-Dere canyon slopes by migrant monks. Chufut-Kale is the medieval town-fortress, built on the mountain plateau in the 5th-6th centuries. The three fortress walls with gates and towers, tomb, two kenassas (karaims prayer houses) and unique siege are well preserved.
